Professor Deiary Kader is a Director of Doctors Club Ltd.
Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Academic Surgical Unit, SW London Elective Orthopaedic Centre Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals; and specialist surgeon at the Weapon Wounded Trauma Training Centre (WTTC) in Tripoli/Lebanon the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC); with extensive experience in knee ligament reconstruction, primary/revision knee arthroplasty, patellofemoral joint instability and multiligament reconstruction. Also Visiting Professor Department of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Northumbria University Newcastle, and Director of Clinical Research North East Orthopaedic and Sport Injury Research (OASIR) group. Previously orthopaedic surgeon at the QEH NHS trust in Gateshead and team doctor for Newcastle United football club.
In the past 12 years has developed an extensive interest in research and postgraduate training and published scientific papers, book chapters and articles. He is editor in chief of two journals and associate editor of many prestigious national and international journals. He is also a co-author of two popular postgraduate orthopaedic books and co-director of the six days postgraduate FRCS Orthopaedic lecture and clinical course. Since 2010 he has been dedicating a significant amount of his time for humanitarian work with the Newcastle Gateshead Medical Volunteers (NGMV) medical charity and the ICRC.
